As a heads-up, I'm mostly working on small pieces of larger future updates this month. I'm collecting any feedback from enemy randomizer as well as anything else, and I'll update sometime within a week or so with some minor updates I've already collected.

I wonder if this enemy was originally intended to appear in more places from the start? I don't think this could ever happen in the places it normally appears in the game.

Technically I have 90% copied the old enemy randomizer now, but my first test reminded me of the issues I have with it.

For one, I'd like to remove these spots with an unavoidable hard-to-kill enemy charging at you. But fixing it will require cataloguing every enemy location. Please bear with me.

As research on enemy randomizer I'm checking whether DS restrictions on enemy placement still exist in Dominus.

I knew this from Arthroverta, but some don't. Example, Skeleton Frisky supposedly crashed the game when placed in the air, but now doesn't. Mimic is still unfightable in the air though...

If you want to see an example of one of the effects that can be chosen at random, here's what Shift Sleeve does.

- If your glyph page has Volaticus, you can superjump like Albus.
- If you're on page A, your backdash becomes a forward dash. B and C have backdashes like normal.

This isn't in the update, but the ability to see both "side screens" at once in Dominus is nice, and I had a request to take advantage of that by revealing enemy stats from the start.

I think making Book of Spirits reveal enemy drops while you have it might be a cool idea, so I just added the tech.

First seed post-release to check I didn't make a silly mistake.

Progression speed was pretty fast on this one, but I knew from a hint cat that the last piece of Dominus was in Training Hall and I had no double jump, which I'd have to search the world for... But then Barlowe had that Dominus dupe.

Here's what the main tab of the randomizer will probably look like. For a few reasons it had to be a bit scarier/more involved than before, but I think if you follow the steps one by one it should be pretty simple.

The bottom buttons don't work yet, so that'll be done over the next day or two.

While playtesting I had a thought that Drops items are kind of weak when they're placed as pickups because there's likely to be only one of them. And it was easy to implement, so now there's a chance of them becoming Super Drops that give 5000 AP. Further thoughts in following posts.

Cat hints are done(?) now. The transformation that can talk to cats is also randomized. May still change where cats appear.

While I was here I tried figuring how to move Irina to the left so she and the cat don't start on the same position, and that took longer than the entire rest of the exercise.

Mostly finished point 2 (using patches), which will help me test stuff faster. To be fully complete I need to finish the UI changes, though.
Also started on point 6 (hint cats), although this is just a test. The details are subject to change, but I'm working with how it is in the DS version for now.
