Mayo, 29, has played in 82 NHL games, all w the Arizona Coyotes. He last played in the league on Feb. 13 vs. Nashville.

Over the last two seasons, Mayo has played for Vegas' AHL franchise in Henderson, Nev. He's 6-foot, 190 pounds, a former 5th-round pick of the Coyotes in 2014.

If #CBJ  Mateychuk can't go, look for Dante Fabbro to move back up beside Zach Werenski on the No. 1 pairing.

That would also lead to Dysin Mayo's #CBJ  debut on the third pair with Jake Christiansen, as Erik Gudbranson is out and not expected to play on this trip.
