#CBJ Cam Atkinson’s final lap

Longtime fans of #CBJ  will remember Rostislav Klesla’s signature sign off. He was kind enough to recreate it this morning in Nationwide Arena:

Former #CBJ Jack Roslovic, who had 22 goals for #RaiseUp last season, remains the NHL’s top unsigned free agent. He’s skating every other day at a suburban rink in Columbus, his hometown.
He politely declined an interview request from The Athletic this morning.

A Columbus hockey legend, Glenn Wright, 93, has died, his family announced.

“Coach” taught multiple generations of central Ohioans how to skate, play and so much more. Always enjoyed our chats. Peace to his family/friends.

The angels are learning to skate and forecheck now.

No surprise, but #CBJ first-round draft pick — Pyotr Andreyanov, selected No. 20 overall last month — has signed a new five-year agreement with CSKA of the KHL, keeping him under contract through 2029-30.

It’s been four years since the Blue Jackets and the world lost a kind soul and an emerging talent.

Rest in peace, Matiss. And continued comfort and peace to those who knew and loved him.
