I wish there was a secret formula for detecting AI writing at a glance but there just isn't one and spreading the idea that there is one just makes trouble for authors who like em dashes or hyphens or semicolons or whatever the tell is supposed to be this week.

Man I remembered an old beta complaining about the traps in an old novel that I almost scrapped because they only criticized and never gave me anything to help fix what was wrong but go on and guess and how many traps are "too many traps"
