My initial instinct is “raven” if it’s in the middle of the day - see if you can catch it with Merlin. They have a sharp bark call. If it’s at dawn or dusk, it’s coyote mating season, and they… make some weird vocalizations this time of year. “Come hither” requires vocal pizzazz, I guess.

I think the tradeoff is that this absolutely puts a target on our backs, and I don’t think she wants ABQ to be the next Minneapolis. But I think she’ll do it. There’s a lot of political upside, and, if nothing else, she is a shrewd politician.

Extremely strong chance this passes. Senate leadership won’t go on the record like that unless they’re sure they have the votes. IMO the question is really if the gov signs, and my guess is she will because she wants to run for state office again and knows the score in our majority minority state.
