All the Canadians who are upset over immigration levels forget one of the key reasons we tried to increase our population: We are a small country in a sometimes hostile world, facing future battles over resources and the Arctic. We should be thankful we stand at 40 million now rather than 25 or 30.

I got laid off today, with the rest of 18F.
