Color of Money is one of those movies that makes me feel absurd cheer when I know someone else is enjoying it. I know it's bananas to feel about a big studio film w/ Tom Cruise and Paul Newman like it's a scrappy underdog, but nonetheless!

You put this film on my radar when you did 1952 and I've been waiting to see it for years. Finally saw it this week and it was amazing. So good.

Finished this a few weeks ago, then started reading it again from the beginning. I rarely do that with non-fiction. I am a hard-bitten skeptic about this era of horror and you really got me to rethink my prejudices.
