I have had a number of replies try to blame the dems for doing nothing. Not true. The Democratic majority House impeached Trump for Jan. 6. The Senate should have convicted him but only 7 Republican senators voted to convict, short of the 67 votes needed. All Democrats did. McConnell stopped..
Unfortunately, the Rolling Stone is correct: Trump fomented an insurrection, and by legal maneuvers and feckless Republican allies, he has gotten away with it.
