My dad was in WWII. We went to Arlington when he was suffering from dementia and he stood there crying and telling us about the war- which he had rarely done before. He would be devastated to see what is going on now.
Today we honor the brave souls—and their families—who upheld their oath to the Constitution and gave their lives to defend it.
This Memorial Day, may we pause in quiet reflection, with full hearts, for those who laid down everything so that liberty might live on in each of us.

Squirrels are all over my back yard and all over my bird feeders. Only good way to get rid of them is to cut off the food source. Thought I would embrace it instead!
