The Trump admin is engaged in a harm reduction strategy. If releasing redacted and partial Epstein files was the less harmful option to Trump's reputation imagine how harmful following the law would have been.

This is why they cut aid. The GOP doesn't want folks dependent on government aid because they want them dependent on conservative sources of aid. They are control freaks. They want people to suffer: suffering creates desperation; desperation leads people to God.
