#AB188 received bipartisan support in the #NVLeg Assembly! Bill off the the Senate! This bill helps all state public employee retirees (and thanks to our AFSCME and AFSCME retiree colleagues for helping @nvfa.bsky.social NFA get this done!)

NFA's @nvfa.bsky.social #HigherEd budget priorities moving through the money committees in #NVLeg today. Ways passed SB498 out of committee with additional funding amended in! Senate Finance heard AB567 today to help us keep our campus communities safe.

People work in the public sector often for less pay than we can get in the private sector because of the benefits. But what happens when the state takes those benefits away? We can correct that by restoring retiree health benefits in #AB188. #NVLeg @nvfa.bsky.social
