What he meant was no white people have died. Or no one in the Trump regime has to date counted any bodies. So if no body count, no bodies.

Um, yeah. Jodi Ernst. One of five. Who wanted what from whom?

Just me. If you live in HB, vote YES on A & B to fight back. Vote yes to say you’re a regular citizen, a resident of your once fair city, and you don’t want uproar. You don’t want the Mayor and City Council making back room deals with unscrupulous outsiders with your tax-payers money. Yes on A/B.

3. Now MAGA has forced an expensive City election. They pretend this is about the misuse of public revenue. No! MAGA intends to break our City. They want residents to demand privatization. Zero out books, libraries, infrastructure, public education. If you know, you know. Vote Yes on A & B.

Part 2. MAGA has targeted us as their national Beta. If they bankrupt us, they will privatize. Everything. They hired a slick MAGA consultant. Sent cult church members to our CC meeting to read racy books - pretending that’s on library shelves for toddlers and young adults. (See #3)

Unless you’re still a resident of Huntington Beach, you won’t get this. I’ll make it easy for you. Big dark money loaded our City Council with 7 MAGA out to destroy our city one banned book at a time. Per the MAGA playbook, they’ve lied to create wedge issues that have divided us. (See Part 2)

Soon the judiciary will only hear B2B actions. Nothing for the individual who will find it impossible to secure a lawyer willing to take a case that can be held up for years with appeals and by corrupt judges.

Perhaps some sooner than later. Thanks to Trump, The Heritage Foundation, Project 2025, Elon Musk, Steven Miller, Peter Thiel, Russell Voight, the Koch Brothers, and, hey, why not, John Roberts.
May 31, 2025 at 5:45 AM
Sad. We are losing our once great country, one corrupt Trump judge at a time.
May 31, 2025 at 5:41 AM
Whatever it is it has to be better than letting human beings die. Yeah, we are all going to die but it doesn’t have to be at the hands of Trump and RFK Jr.
May 31, 2025 at 5:40 AM
Really. Is everything going to be renamed Trump? The Trump Bureau of Investigation. Trump Correctional Prison. Trump elevator shoes. Trump adult diapers. Trump Regrow-That-Ear cream.

I read Palantir has already received 130M in Federal Government (our tax dollars) contracts. Makes me think we are paying way too much in taxes.

Putting two sentences together for a book contract does not a journalist make - especially when he has no scruples.
May 31, 2025 at 5:31 AM
The line between ethical journalism and today’s shrewd newsbots is way skewed. Those capable of putting two paragraphs together are not journalists. They will do anything for a book contract. Anything. And we all know what that makes them.

SCOTUS has been in on this takeover all along. The MAGA judges, we know who they are, have accepted bribes in the form of freebies for as long each has been in office. Clarence Thomas is probably the most vile as he’s accepted enough undercover money to float his boat.
May 31, 2025 at 5:20 AM
Guess this is a hostile takeover. As Trump said, we’re going to “protect” you like it or not.
May 27, 2025 at 6:13 PM
Either that or, as he’s always been driven madly by his need for a daddy’s approval, he is now certifiably mad.
May 27, 2025 at 6:04 PM
Another day where America sinks lower and lower as this heavy-handed administration seeks to disembowel us.
May 27, 2025 at 6:02 PM
We see all the risk-averse cowards siding with the fascist/Nazi-like administration knowing they are expediting the fall of American greatness.
May 27, 2025 at 6:00 PM
Wow. I’m speechless. Wordless. I lived in Texas briefly in 1975-76. It was illiterate and unimaginative then and it sounds like nothing has changed.

Thank you for posting. The Borowitz satire is always delicious but none more so now that we’re living this nightmare.
May 27, 2025 at 5:26 PM
Congratulations! And well done.

What low lifes.
May 23, 2025 at 7:56 PM
Thank you for having Rachel Cohen on. An excellent account of what the current administration is trying to carry out against once formidable law firms.
