And it feels like it's getting worse every minute of every day. All the guardrails we thought were in place to further our Democratic way of life are no longer there. Even the "understanding" we had with our Democratic legislators is been seriously harmed by the betrayal of Schumer and Fetterman.

Ralph's in Huntington Beach, CA, has installed plexiglass walls around two aisles containing light bulbs, Zip-lock bags, and pain relievers. Also huge tv monitors trained on shoppers. Items were $2. to $5. more today than this past Sunday. Eggs $7.99-&13.99. Price gouging? Or the new reality?

After 19 Jan 2025, I will be spending more time traveling, taking more photographs, seeing more theater (everything Sondheim), thinking about the meaning of life, haha, and writing. I will not be watching main stream tv news or participating in algorithmically challenged social media.

Well, damn. The Pacific Palisades, Malibu, parts of Runyon Canyon, Altadena and Sylmar are on fire. I drove up there today to see my mom's old place. It's still standing.
