Whatever it is in human psychology that puts a wrapper around someone telling you "the world is ending" meant that half the people who heard it got phenomenally depressed and the other half retreated into various denials. Not a great way to respond to a warming planet!

As someone who believes climate change is real, I gotta say the public messaging for the last decade+ has been a disaster. The word was getting out but it was not landing. The warnings were shrill and unactionable. The yearly milestones started sounding like Second Coming rhetoric.

Intentionally failing to street park in a way that maximizes the available space for other cars is actively malicious.

I've been looking forever for a fantastic Hama standalone issue about new Joes being trained in a comically intense boot camp scenario. It's very funny and the COs keep telling them they'll be shipped to Greenland if they tap out. It ends with an emergency middle-of-the-night op against COBRA.

A) The press does give him a lot of grief over this, so much so that he went on an extremely wounded TS rant over the fact that the story won't die and B) MAGA will still contort any story about Trump. They love the man not the actions. And they don't even believe the actions most of the time.
