10 years since Ireland said Yes to marriage equality. That moment was unforgettable, but the fight started long before 2015. Grateful to the activists, campaigners & everyday people who made it happen. I still remember writing to Brian Cowen in 2009 asking for change #MarRef #YES10 #MarriageEquality

The way A Goofy Movie achieved its unlikely place in the pantheon of Disney classics is a fascinating tale. 30 years on it still captures the hearts of fans and is a testament to its director Kevin Lima and the animation team behind it. #Animation #Disney #AGoofyMovie

I finished reading 'Careless People' by Sarah Wyn Williams. A wonderful guide into what an insane mess Facebook was/is. There are so many gasp-inducing revelations, which I won't spoil. Ireland's and, unsurprisingly, Enda Kenny's role in enabling Facebook was an interesting tidbit. #carelesspeople

Proud to be part of this launch—bringing a fresh twist to the Candy universe was an incredible challenge, but the team made it happen! My biggest highlight? Leading the launch trailer production—bringing the game to life in a way that feels both new and totally Candy! youtu.be/Mt_w50yqqAg?...

It's #WorldCancerDay, and every minute, 40 people are diagnosed with cancer globally. 13 years ago, I was diagnosed with it. So today, I want to acknowledge the courage of those affected and celebrate scientific progress in treating the disease. Here's my story:

Column: I was diagnosed with cancer at just 22 – here's what all men need to know
Testicular cancer doesn’t select age, lifestyle, or when it’s the most convenient for you to deal with it. Men young and old need to conquer whatever fear or embarrassment they might feel and check fo...

Back in 2021, PMG reported on the unseen games industry crunch taking place at outsourcing studios in SE Asia.

Since then, the companies we looked at have continued to work on some of the biggest games in the world, without any push to improve the conditions of the artists doing that work. (1/7)

Director Madeline Sharafian says Pixar’s ‘ELIO’ has “some sci-fi horror references.”

Being subjected to the "broader horizons" on Twitter for close to 15 years didn't make me more open to the right's beliefs - it made me *more left*. You have to be political and defensive on Twitter.

Here, I can just talk about games and art. This is more of an escape and *less* political.
Opinion - The problem with Bluesky: It won’t broaden our horizons: In the wake of Donald Trump’s election win, the social-media platform has enjoyed a surge of new users looking for an alternative to Elon Musk’s X. But will it be useful, if it just creates an echo chamber for the left?

Love this idea but if we're to strengthen the Irish language then political parties need to do more than this. Like saving our Gaeltachtaí and even try to expand them.
Would you like to see packaging like this in Ireland?

A growing number of political parties are voicing support for the introduction of bilingual packaging. This cross-party promise is the result of the work of Cian Ward (28) who thought of the idea when living in Canada. jrnl.ie/6545417

A fascinating look into who controls Bluesky.
1/IMPORTANT thread about Bluesky funding and origins. Many folks know that it was seeded by Jack Dorsey around a libertarian vision of a magical network that wouldn’t need moderation because it would be decentralized and baked into a protocol (somehow).

Australia is introducing an act that will ban under-16s from online platforms (social media, YouTube, Roblox, Fortnite, PSN/Xbox Live, etc).

The proposed act has support on both sides of government and is expected to pass unchallenged.

Disney just released the 4K remaster of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs today and much like their 4K remaster of Cinderella, it is simply gorgeous. It's like watching the film straight off the original negative. I really hope we get more 4K remasters of Disney Animation films.
