I'm noticing I feel the most distress about my cat being gone around her med times & when I crawl into bed. Without fail, within 10min of me getting into bed, she used to join me to sleep.

Not having her around has honestly been really hard.

It was her, but it wasn't.
She smelled wrong. She was cold. She didn't grab onto me & didn't rub her head in my hand.

I still sat and held her for over 2 hours. She was my heart. And without her... What's left?

She can only spend an hour off the IV & was really drugged up... after she heard my voice I got two sad meows, she looked up at me, slow blinked, gave me one purr breath, rubbed her face/head all over me as best she could, and then wiggled back into the blankets and slept.

My baby... I miss you...

Went thrifting for Christmas stuff today and I've got to say my favorite find was this bag if vintage wooden ornaments.

My mom had so many of these that just seeing them made me feel like a little kid helping decorate on Christmas again :)

And it came with a random Korean couple lol
