They are done! I've uploaded my Hornet and Lace models together on sketchfab and posted some renders on artstation. Almost definitely going to relight/rerender later but I just had to share them now that I'm happy with the texturing #silksongfanart

I love texturing. I'm leaning into the pearly silk look on Lace, then it'll be Hornet's turn soooon.

Some sculpting progress for my Lace model, just focusing on folds. It's been a while since I sculpted in blender over zbrush. Previewing with the pearl matcap because it matches closest to how I'm imagining the silky parts #silksonglace #silksongfanart

Took a break from personal projects for a week to play silksong (and let my back recover from being a big dummy that sits at a desk all day and night). Anyway here's some hollow knight doodles featuring the siblings and their deadbeat dad (sorry to pale king aplogists).

Ending the month and the weekend with some new renders featuring fancy lighting, updated eyeball materials, and placeholder clothing for modesty. This will be a good place to leave the semi-real base mesh for future projects (also doubles as a clothes mannequinn/wig head) #art #3dart

I sculpted the inner layer of the eyeball iris last night. Got a start on the outer part today (painted a mask on the flat eyeball in zbrush and extracted from that). After this whole semi-realistic project is done I think I'll do something more handpainted again. #art #3dart

We must have zero tolerance for AI usage in media in any capacity. "Oh it's just placeholder", "oh it's only a small percentage of our project" will inevitably lead to more. It devalues creatives as a whole.
