This is the whole point of AI. It’s not to actually replace humans. It’s to change your title from “head writer” to “assistant AI technician,” not credit you, and pay you half of what you were paid before

My latest hack ‘CyberDeckChair’ is a solar-powered contraption with two modes. In cyberdeck mode, use it as a Pomodoro timer to aid your work productivity. When you’ve exhausted yourself, activate the deckchair mode and recharge in the sun ☀️🧳🔋

If devices need breaks, so do you!! ✨✨✨

Casually reading the new issue of Make Magazine, I see a cool collaborative article and LED creation by @anu1905.bsky.social and @arturo182.bsky.social. Then I unexpectedly see my name listed as an inspiration. 🥹🤗

I make electronics projects, often wearable, usually with LEDs, both for my own enjoyment, and to publish on my blog (GeekMomProjects.com) and in Make: magazine so that others can build and enjoy them as well.

Just completed a new illuminated tote design in order to document and write it up for Make: Magazine. I had to change the geometric pattern on the front panel from my original builds because those were too close to a famous designer's trademark!

Made a coordinating LED crossbody and tote bag. To see the full effect, this video shows them in action: https://photos.app.goo.gl/VQUJzvVgrt7uJLVy7. Wonder if I can get away with wearing one on each shoulder...🤔

I made a custom PCB that replaces a Mason jar lid and turns it into a touch-sensitive lamp 💡

I’m so excited! I made Victorian-inspired pockets attached to a waistband (w velcro).

I made them comically large to make a point, so, it fits everything I need - my phone, charging cable, wallet, comb, hand sanitizer, a tiny notebook, and my e-reader. If this sticks, it will be a game changer 👜🚫

I am beyond excited to start reading on my ‘open book’, a kit I assembled at the Open Hardware Summit last month. It was my first time soldering SMD components, and phew, I managed. Thanks all involved humans and flux for this awesome experience 💕
