There was "Track and Race Cars" in between for a short time which was great. I tried PPC and yeah, a few familiar faces, but wasn't quite my thing, that's more sort of out-there road builds.

I did have a day in Tokyo in between to recover which was nice, but still a bit of a gap between leaving one hotel and being able to check into the next!
I've once again scheduled too little time in Hiroshima, got maybe a day and a half, some of which will be spent at Mazda.

I basically only discovered the mag a year or two before it vanished, but it had been around for decades.

Cars and Car Conversions, often abbreviated (and later changed on the masthead) as "triple C". Covered the ground between road and racing, including building cars for the latter, from club motorsport up to professional stuff. Closest thing in the US is probably Grassroots Motorsport.

B-series sounds much better than the K too. I mean, they're all mostly terrible with a loud exhaust, but keep that down and the B definitely has a better induction noise than the K and F series engines.

Easy to move a capital, not so easy to move all the people. Can bung the heads of state anywhere you like, but a lot of people are gonna be left in the sweltering hell-hole...

I guess it probably helps that Spark makes models of the Renault 11, so it's only a few small changes to do an Encore version...

Not far off 😆 Spending more time in Osaka this time before renting a car here and heading south (last time I only went as far as Osaka in the car). Had some time to kill before checking into my hotel so couldn't help myself...

Roughly 200 yen to the pound at the mo. Makes doing the conversion in my head pretty easy, knock off the last two numbers and half it.

I'm not sure they should listen to the Average Joe either as those are the cars that tend to be focus-grouped to death.
Though I'm not convinced they listen to anyone that much. For a start if they *actually* listened to journos, cars wouldn't be decked head to toe in screens.
