Today for the first time he pawed at his brush to get me to brush him. It’s his best activity, he’ll sit on the desk and let me brush him forever. I feel like he’ll be a lap cat one day.

Freddie has made excellent progress over the past couple of days. He’s come out of his shell and is incredibly fussy now. Still a long way to go but it’s so lovely seeing him relaxing and purring.

It’s been so lovely seeing people celebrates 30 years of Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness. I got a bit emotional knowing it had such big effect on other people. Smashing Pumpkins got me through a lot growing up and it’s nice to know I wasn’t alone.

After weeks of preparing, repairing and painting the first version of the conservatory dining room is finished. I’m super proud we’ve managed to finish the first room and finally have a cosy place to eat dinner. On to the next room…

I really enjoyed having the GLC format in TCG Live a few weeks back it was a great chance to test my decks. I decided to pick up all the cards from my final version of the grass deck and it’s finally complete. I’m pleased the Sprigatito line made the made the cut, it’s become the mascot.

Camden market is a labyrinth but there are definitely some treasures scattered throughout. I’m not sure it is ever quiet but it was slammed today.

Spending my money way too fast on the Gashapons at the Bandai X Namco store. So much Spy X Family merch as well. I’m definitely coming back when the new office is ready.

Went exploring the shops in Bradford upon Avon and can across some Obsidian Flames packs out in the wild! I feel like this set is so underrated and has such excellent pull rates. Still trying to get those Charizards!

I love a good advent calendar and the Pokemon TCG calendar is just so lovely. I’m a sucker for the smaller card sets and just look at this artwork. So excited to see what’s inside (no spoilers!)

We’ve also started the journey with buying a new house. There is still a way to go but we took an inspiration trip to IKEA, the same store we furnished our first flat from. It’s funny how things come full circle. Anyway here’s Lucy in the mirror world, there are over 17 mirrors in the mirror world.

Anniversary weekend with @lucy in Southampton. It’s feels like an age since we were last there and it was especially refreshing to see a place known so well from a gorgeous hotel. Here’s our view of the estuary this morning, perfect with a cup of coffee.

Back home but not finished being a tourist! Finally visited the Roman Baths to take the waters and explore remains of the bathhouses and the temple to Minerva Sulis. It’s an impressive site and the gilded bronze of Minerva Sulis alone is worth the cost of admission.

We took a trip to Pembrokeshire to unwind and it was perfect. Highlight was definitely the Ffyonne waterfall, it’s rare to find such a beautiful and magical location.
