Representation is also about making compromises. Thresholds affect at which stage these compromises are made. Low thresholds mean painful compromises are made in parliament, not at the voting booth. We can’t escape the fact that millions of preferences have to become one policy outcome.

I think it’s utter bs tremendously underestimating how much GenAi can contribute to learning (especially if teachers are bad). Also super ridiculous to put such a heavy weight on the question of how difficult the Abi is. just boomers trying to assert superiority based on their mediocre Abi grades?
