Greyhound racing in Northern Ireland is a welfare crisis hiding in plain sight. No regulation. No oversight. No justice for the dogs harmed or discarded.

I’ve submitted a motion to Belfast City Council to ban greyhound racing.

Why are the DUP and the TUV so obsessed with other people's genitals?

It's weird, it's creepy and it needs to be called out.

Belfast Pride brings out the very best of our city, including the largest and most inclusive parade in our city 💪

Great to see Ballymena come out in their thousands to support the very first pride march in the town, outnumbering the tiny amount of counter protesters gathered at the band stand 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️💪

After the horrendous scenes in Larne tonight, the communities minister is no longer fit for public office.

It's time for Gordon Lyons to resign.

Getting reports of Japanese knotweed growing in various areas across the Comber greenway. This has been reported to DfI over the past few weeks, who will be actioning as soon as possible.

Invasive species are a huge problem. Always report Japanese knotweed for removal ASAP

Belfast celebrates the start of Pride Month with our recently unveiled LGBTQ stain glass window, celebrating the history of the queer community in NI.

The unveiling of Belfast City Halls' newest stain glass window today, a window dedicated to the LGBTQ community in Belfast and NI.

It features points in our communities history of struggle in the fight for rights.

1st proposed by Mary Ellen Campbell, a true stalwart.

Thanks to DfI for replacing some street trees along Wandsworth Road and the park area. A few street trees had to be removed recently due to roadworks and path obstructions, but thankfully, they've been replaced, and residents can continue to reap the benefits that street trees bring to their area 🌳

My speech to council a few weeks ago talking about Trans day of Visibility.

I suppose my comments are much more apt today in light of the supreme court's decision this week.

Trans people exist in our society, their lives and experiences matter, and we need to consider that in the days ahead.

Today is #TransDayOfVisibility, where we celebrate our wonderful Trans & non-binary community in NI & across the world.

Our community is diverse, vibrant & strong in the face of culture wars & right-wing grifters who want to demonise and divide.

I will always stand with you 🏳️‍⚧️

Last summer, violent racist thugs were able to run rampant in Belfast, targeting and destroying local businesses in our city. Any notion of them rearing their ugly heads again will be opposed.

Peaceful gathering against racism today at Belfast City Hall 1pm 👍
