Gaza is being erased systematically by Israel. We all see it happening right in front of us. The next step in the Israeli government's plan is to settle Gaza and put the Palestinians who lived there into a concentration camp.

I've been thinking recently about the people I grew up with in school, and where they might be now. Most of them were probably drafted to the IOF, a lot of them were probably called for reserves duty during this last year or so. I keep wondering, what have they been doing throughout this genocide?

It's a relief to hear that a ceasefire agreement has finally been reached (i.e. Israel finally caved and stopped putting out ludicrous demands). Hopefully Israel actually respects this agreement, unlike Lebanon, and the people of Gaza can get some much needed and belated aid.

It's always been incredible to me how through all the horrible things happening in the world, we're expected to just continue living life as normal - go to work, watch TV, etc. - as if all of those things we keep hearing about are just figments of our imagination that are best ignored.

Next time a Zionist accuses you of antisemitism for acknowledging the basic reality that Israel is committing a genocide, ask them: "How exactly was what I said antisemitic?" and watch as they angrily flail about because they have no real explanation

I found myself thinking of Hind Rajab. Or rather, I found myself trying to recall the name, Hind Rajab. I don't want to forget it, I want it etched into my brain forever. I never want to forget what happened to her, the horror of it, the injustice. Still, with everything going on, I almost forgot.

When the first aerial attack on Gaza started in 2008, I remember myself thinking this was justified. Hamas was firing rockets at the Gaza envelope, after all, and something had to be done about it, I thought, and was encouraged to think by the media and people around me.

Israel has invaded Syria.

The failure of the Western media to refer to an invasion is nothing other than disinformation.

First Gaza and the West Bank, then Lebanon, now Syria. Israel's bloodlust and expansionism know no bounds. It is obvious to anyone who looks at this with their own eyes that this atrocity is in the service of occupation and settlement, and Israeli leaders are saying as much openly.

Haven't posted in a while. I just find it hard to know what to say. Everything that needs to be said has already been said better and on bigger platforms than mine, and this horror just continues completely unimpeded. It can be very despairing.

Can't give up, though. We have no right to give up.

I don't want to just pessimistically post about this situation. We need hope for things to be better, and the ICC warrants may not be enough, but they're something.

Here's a video of @owenjones.bsky.social interviewing Dr. Alonso Gurmendi about it, which is optimistic, yet realistic.

I remember having some optimism for the provisional measures ordered by the ICJ back at the start of this year. I thought it may mark a shift in the way Israel is treated.

Now, in light of how that turned out, this ICC arrest warrant feels so hollow.

Without an arms embargo, this horror won't end.

I'm a Hebrew speaker from the land of Palestine, who has lived under the Israeli regime since I was born.
