Watching the world die from malignant economic growth.

Planet cancer.

Investing is a parasitic colonial practice adding the opposite of value, at any cost to the environment therefore society.

LESS = MORE
Over 30 years of faux promises and we're demonstrably in a much worse situation today than we were in the 90s. It defines political failure of the worst kind - betrayal of humanity. They're backing the most unethical 'solution' imaginable and it's worse than doing nothing.

Please feel free to disprove them. 🤷‍♂️

You can read peer-reviewed literature already published. Then use some basic problem solving to join up the dots. The effects of pollution on biology are widely covered and more consistent with observations than loose claims "it's genetics". If you or anyone else can disprove it, excellent.🤷‍♂️

Again, genetics doesn't explain an increase in the rates of autism Observed globally. That's not how genetics work. However, it is consistent with environmental factors like exposure to pollution during critical periods of development.

Can you disprove what I have stated? I can't.

Embryonic development is controlled by genetics. Therefore it is valid to accept mutation can result in neurodevelopmental disorders, including suspected pre-industrialisation cases. However, epigenetic/environmental factors like pollutants can cause mutation-like effects. The exposome has changed.

Of course, genetics is easier to believe rather than the inconveniently predictable outcome of environmental pollution contaminating every aspect of our daily lives - air, water, food and even the brains if our unborn developing in the womb. Failure to regulate polluting industries for decades.
November 10, 2025 at 10:22 AM
I'm not making assumptions. Nor do I limit my views to loosely researched genetics flawed by inadequate experimental design. Environmental pollutants as neurodevelopmental toxins is not a novel idea. I'd say read the scientific literature beyond unconfirmed proposals based on genetic noise.
November 10, 2025 at 10:12 AM
I have a background in genetics. Genetics doesn't explain the increases in rates of autism and other neurodevelopmental disorders. Assessent hasn't changed - there has been no breakthrough in diagnosis to explain the increases. 'Better awareness' is a bit lame. That leaves environmental pollution.

What about farmed salmon? Ethoxyquin, a toxic compound with mutagenic effects that crosses the placenta and blood-brain barrier of our unborn developing in the womb? Within years of farmed salmon being introduced into Japan, something strange happened:

Leaders of rich countries (c*nts for short) have lost enthusiasm for defending a liveable planet? They have not expressed any enthusiasm for defending a liveable planet. Why they have failed to tackle the climate crisis for over 30 years. They all lack basic leadership qualities. Self-serving c*nts.

For reasons I don't understand, The Guardian have been celebrating and bigging up the Nordics for years. So much so that they fail to see and accept how the Nordics are so toxic, corrupt, xenophobic and sexist. The silence prescribed by taboos is deafening. Progressive, my arse. Post-1945 eugenics?🤷‍♂️
November 10, 2025 at 6:57 AM
No, that's something else.
November 10, 2025 at 6:45 AM
Don't be so complacent. Just because, in theory, it can be caused by genetics doesn't mean it's normal or that the human exposome isn't responsible for most cases of developmental disorders today. There's no shortage of environmental pollutants with neurotoxic effects.

You're being a 1D 6-year-old again, bragging about being relatively shite on paper, according to loosely comparable stats. Spending more per capita on x, y and z doesn't necessarily translate into better services. When services cost more, you have to pay more, per capita. Ireland lacks innovation.🥴

Blah! Blah! Blah!

And yet Ireland's BS economy is based - more than most others - on what Thatcher adopted. Neoliberalism. And you have no fecking idea? 🥴
November 8, 2025 at 9:39 PM
The point, ironically, Ireland's not been that independent. Throughout history, it's been affected by colonialists, including Norse pirates, and now, due to crap political decisions, depends on colonialists more than ever. The complacency is staggering. Thatcher would have been a big fan. 😱

A landscape crisis too, which makes it particularly vulnerable and clearly shows, again, its economic 'development' has gone in the wrong direction.
