Oh, sorry, kid, sorry. I’m not used to the laughter of children. It cuts through me like a dentist’s drill.

Can you grasp just how shitty Dr. Oz being an elected official was that people were eager to vote for Fetterman? Thank the Panther god that this big, dumb Sasquatch isn’t running again.

“There was so little water in the clouds, Woogie couldn’t even make a cup of tea!”

And then sometimes you’re reminded that Sideshow Bob’s full name is Robert Underdunk Terwilliger… and all is well for a few moments.

Hey! Look at this very cool thing! I won’t tell you what it is… YET. But I will soon.

If Popeye has the strength to squeeze a can of spinach so hard that the lid rips open and the spinach flies up in the air… why does he need the spinach?

The Pope condemning global wealth inequality is the right message from the wrong person. Your literal palace is its own country, pal.

Ricardo Montalbán screaming “THIS IS CETI-ALPHA FIVE!” is the single greatest line read in the history of cinema. You either agree or you’re wrong on purpose.

I play this Buzzfeed game almost every day. I’m never gonna bookmark it. My friend Andy used to play it every day too and he’d always post his results. I used to go to his feed and use the link in his results and compare my time. Now that he’s gone, it’s my excuse to see his photo and say hello.

I made short ribs and garlic mashed potatoes today because I’m friggin’ awesome and I deserve awesome stuff.

Stopped to grab a quick bite on my way to run some errands. This place has two counters and two tables. 16 seats, total…. and a sign that says “no dine in please”.

Friendly.

Call it virtue signalling, if you like. Either way, Disney doesn’t need my money.

Sad to read that Ken Dryden has died.

I was thinking last night about how I had tried to start watching Corrie again a few weeks ago and made it through a small handful of episodes and hadn’t bothered again since then. Then I see this post and I’m really at peace with not watching anymore. At best, I wish I actually missed it.

@olbermann.bsky.social - listening to today’s podcast and was inspired to do some doodling.

Finally got around to ordering a pair of new corner box stickers for Fan Expo Canada: a Savage Land Rogue and a variation on the original Spider-Man sticker I did. The art for Rogue is based on this sketch cover I completed yesterday.

In my head cannon, Alan Alda and Donald Sutherland were secretly friends who went on adventures together, lovin’ women and outsmartin’ bad guys as The Two Hawkeyes.

But in this world, Wayne Rogers and Elliot Gould were very standoffish to one another.

Actress Tracy Scroggins might have something to say about this. 😁

Here’s an odd fact that might win you a bar bet someday. Roger Bowen, who played Col. Henry Blake in the movie version of MASH and McLean Stevenson, the tv Blake, died on consecutive days in February 1996.

I still tear up when Radar comes into the O.R. to inform everyone that Henry’s helicopter was shot down over the Sea of Japan.
