Shipping container homes are dumb.
Tiny homes can be very cool.
A well-built cabin in the woods is awesome especially if it’s near water.

If you voted for Trump, fuck you.

I hope you smarten the fuck up and get it right next time.

But still… fuck you.

The Epstein File Transparency Act is just another page in the shittiest Choose Your Own Adventure book ever written. There are still a dozen ways for Trump to ensure the files don’t see the light of day until he’s dead… and that’s assuming he hasn’t finally had the most incriminating shit destroyed.

Oh, sorry, kid, sorry. I’m not used to the laughter of children. It cuts through me like a dentist’s drill.

I miss Eric the Actor. I wish he had flown with balloons.

Took a peek at the current social media of a former acquaintance. I disassociated when their political leanings leaned too far to the right for me. Wild to see the journey from stripper to escort to p0rn performer to religion. Except for the right wing bullshit, I wish her well.

I believe in the death penalty but only for email/phone spammers and scammers.

Can you grasp just how shitty Dr. Oz being an elected official was that people were eager to vote for Fetterman? Thank the Panther god that this big, dumb Sasquatch isn’t running again.

I was today years old when I found out out that Douglas Adam’s co-wrote two episodes of the kids cartoon Doctor Snuggles. I’m watching the first of the two right now. I’m pleasantly surprised to find Peter Ustinov was the narrator/voice of the titular Doctor.

And then sometimes you’re reminded that Sideshow Bob’s full name is Robert Underdunk Terwilliger… and all is well for a few moments.

Random Anthony fact: I think runny egg yolks are gross. I have rarely ever sent food back at a restaurant but when I do, that’s almost always why.

The Toronto Transit Commission should pay me to ride the buses and subways all day and, if anyone is playing something loudly on their cel phone WITHOUT HEADPHONES, I would get to smash the device out of their hands with a shillelagh.

How about casting a Magneto with a German accent? I’d be curious about seeing Christoph Waltz in that role… wouldn’t you?

My biggest pet peeve about any comic shop is if the back issue bins are in alphabetical order. If I come in with a list and I know what I want, don’t make me conduct a forensic examination of your store in the faint hope of finding one or two books.

Someday, Megatron will yell at Soundwave about surveilling the Autobots and Soundwave will say he already has the info. Then he’ll press his eject button and Rumble will pop out, dressed like Rick Astley, and sing “Never Gonna Give You Up”

Thanos holding Megatron in gun form and Megatron is studded with Infinity Stones.

There. Now that I’ve written it down I can stop thinking about it CUZ ITS DUMB.

BaltimoreComiccon.bsky.social is upon us, and every year, they release a themed "Yearbook" to coincide with the convention. The theme is Jeff Smith's BONE, and I decided to honor not just Jeff Smith, but Charles Vess as well by doing my take on ROSE, their graphic novel prequel.

“Happy Valley” is another excellent example of British television doing scripted drama much better than the US. Quality over quantity. Three seasons of six episodes over 9 years. An HBO or Netflix might be able to do it well but no American network, needing 13-22 episodes a year, could do this.

Hey! Look at this very cool thing! I won’t tell you what it is… YET. But I will soon.

This man is a god damn sexual tyrannosaurus!
Inktober Day 11: The next of my portraits of the cast of Predator, my second favourite 'alien kills everyone' movie. Next up is Blain, as portrayed by wrestler, actor and former governor, Jesse Ventura. Brush and ink on Strathmore Mixed Media paper. 6x8 inches.

I’ve reached an age where my daydreams about what I’d do if I won the lottery are looking more and more like the plot of Brewster’s Millions. I’m in my mid 50s and have no kids. After I take care of a few people, who would I be saving for or leaving anything to?

Might as well have a few adventures.

If Popeye has the strength to squeeze a can of spinach so hard that the lid rips open and the spinach flies up in the air… why does he need the spinach?
