Lefty here, as well — when I was a freshman in high school I hated my handwriting, so I spent an hour everyday just working on the beauty of my handwriting. I didn’t want to be that ‘left-handed’ person, anymore.

It’s true. Unless I am in the writing/editing phase, I am not going to sit down and read my own book. Like you said, there is too much good stuff out there and it would be foolish not read that, instead.
