Mrs.Miniver. My favourite film of all time.

I’m sure you’ll love it. The people are so friendly. We would go to the open markets where they sell fresh fruit, vegetables, meat and fish. And they greet you every morning with “Bonjour”. I hope to go and visit again someday.

I’ve been to Cannes multiple times, mainly for the film festival, and it’s my favourite place in the world to visit.

It was headwriter Richard Gollance’s last storyline before he left the series. I remember him talking to me about how he absolutely poured himself into that storyline. Wrote straight from the heart.

One of the best Gary/Val storylines in the series. #KnotLanding45
