This game looks amazing! How on earth did you learn how to draw like that?

I'm a programmer trying to learn how to draw but I don't know what to focus on since I just want to make stylized characters like yours...

I plan on using it on Ubuntu

I'll be honest, I don't have a good mental model of recursion but I really enjoy the fact that #SICP and the berkeley assignments forces you to write your code using recursion. It's a blast!
