Sat down to see Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 again in theaters. I like it just about as much as I did the first time, so I’m happy it holds up (altho I am a massive FNAF mark).

Just came out of Marty Supreme. Wild movie for sure, very much has vibes of a film like “Uncut Gems” to me (the main character is a scum bag who is on a tight deadline to make ends meet while constantly making his situation worse). If you like movies about messy people, go for it: 8/10.

Just sat down with Song sung Blue, based on the documentary from 2008. I’m a sucker for emotional story telling and especially music in films, so I’m a perfect mark for a movie like this. Easy 8/10, perfect for the holidays.

Just saw The Housemaid. Up top, I’m probably not the target audience, so friendly reminder these are just my opinions, and shouldn’t stop you from seeing any movie you are interested in. That being said, I like it, 8/10. Maybe I can be talked down to a 7. #movies

Just sat down to see Avatar: Fire and Ash. I have a lot of thoughts but no spoilers so suffice to say, easy 9/10 for me. Hits all the right thematic and emotional beats I’m an easy mark for. Some awkwardness in the edit, but no serious complaints. #movies

Just saw Eternity. A very heartwarming story about what love means, especially in the face of forever. I like it a lot, 8/10. I think it’s a bit messy to talk about, but it has a lot to say so I think discussion is part of the viewing experience. #movies

Sat down to watch Ella McCay. I like it, easy 8/10, maybe trending to a 7 bc it’s not very exciting but I was fairly invested the whole way through. Very tight knit cast and crew manages to pull together a very nostalgic vibe for this flick.

Jus came in the mail today. I love product like this, really, but I don’t love how the packaging is pretty flimsy. I’m gonna miss the big sturdy cardboard boxes but prolly not gonna see those til the economy improves

Just saw Rental Family. I like it, 8/10. Wonderfully earnest movie about how important connection is, about what we mean to each other, and how we can unite through our differences to be a better whole. Not the most exciting or funniest film, but very heartfelt.
