Well, maybe I should be flattered that some bitter klansmen and white nationalists still feel threatened by a strong woman who fought for equality 60 years ago. #HateSpeech

My, but what a harsh post to see yesterday morning. We don’t have to wonder what William F. Buckley, Jr. would say today. I mean, he called Gore Vidal a f-g and thought Easy Rider had a happy ending. I’m hoping this X account migrates over here. It’s quite informative.

Out of respect for my husband, @harpmaster.bsky.social, I won’t post autopsy photos, but in light of threats to education and voting folks need to see what happens when a minority of racists and complicit government officials attack citizens for exercising their civil rights. The fight continues! 👏🇺🇸

The last photo of mom, Viola Liuzzo, taken from film footage of the final Voting Rights March on March 25, 1965 in Selma, AL.
This still was only discovered some years ago. I’m struck by how different she looked from when she first arrived. Like Joan of Arc. Truly transformed. 💛✊🇺🇸

In what world does this still happen where there isn’t more outrage and the news media fails to report honestly? It’s foul and shameful all around. And this poor excuse for a man should have been called out for his attitude and behavior. #Misogynoir

I hope no one stops making this point, if only on sm. Major news media has all but dropped the ball. She and stepmother dearest acted, and still act, as Judas goats.

Outer gop feminine mystique and inner. The white nationalism was baked in and these two helped it go down easier. The people on the right are the ones these ladies said felt “unheard” that dad-husband appealed to. They knew.

I refuse to offer empathy to someone like this. It’s vital to see the true characters of public figures and how their legacies, however small and inconsequential, are affected by their prideful bigotry.

Let’s hope this account stays at zero and doesn’t gaslight people into thinking they’re anti-free speech when it’s the host who spreads disinformation and shuts people down who don’t agree with him. #RealTimeMigraine #BillMaherMisogynoir

The biggest betrayal, the greatest heartbreak is knowing that anyone around you accepted lies, voted against your interests, your civil rights, for the false promise of saving a few thousand dollars and a sense of superiority.
