I think the hardest part about healing from trauma and mental illness is looking at the horrible person you used to be and trying to wrestle with the fact that it's possible none of the people you've hurt will ever forgive you or come back. They're not obligated to.

Sometimes you find a song/poem that just tears old things right out of your chest and lays it before you to destroy whatever peace you have and ruins you for like, a month, but sometimes you find the most whimsical little thing and sometimes that, too, ruins you, but in the happy ahdh manic way.
