I see your top films of 2025 and raise you scripted TV shows. Too many gems to choose from this year, but it’s definitely refreshing to have a year with more comedies. The Studio belongs on there as well.

Jimmy Cliff had me hooked on his music since I was a little kid bopping around to “You Can Get It If You Really Want”. The man was an excellent song writer with great range. R.I.P. Jimmy. Thank you for the music.

Late to the party, but Lily Allen’s West End Girl album is the first album in a while that has me deep listening on repeat and singing into a hairbrush.

1,000-year-old archaeological site beneath the floor in the Dublin Lidl. No plaque. No sign. Just there next to the Taytos and toilet paper.

Funniest cameo I’ve seen in a while, and it turns out the cameo actor, Jared, isn’t the typical Second City or Groundlings alum cameo actor. He’s the actual co-proprietor of the suit store in West Chester, and he had zero previous acting experience. Well done, Jared. #chaircompany

This is what we need more of today.

“Over days of shared debate and problem-solving, they discovered common ground around poverty, housing, and education, issues that cut across race. Ellis publicly tore up his Klan card, renouncing his role in white supremacy.”

Martin McDonagh’s The Pillowman was perfect. So twisted and darky humorous. Loved every minute of it. Absolutely try to see if if you’re in Dublin.

Was so fortunate to see @rosie.com in Dublin! I looked up to her as a kid watching her talk show after school, and I look up to her now as she wears her heart on her sleeve despite hideous words from ... that guy.

It was such a heart-warming, powerful show. I highly recommend seeing it at Fringe!
