But in the better news: I have a medical professional and scientist signed and stamped document that states that I am not allergic to cats and dogs.

When simply greeting the security guy at the local mini supermarket every time, eventually you can get useful tips on the freshest and nicest pastries.

It baffles me that people think that socialising isn’t a learnable skill. Or even more bizarre that socialising and being good at communicating is a skill that some other people bothered to actively learn. I am the Outsider By Choice yet local shops and restaurants all know me as chatty and pleasant

Mine’s a bit less brutal - she pokes her wet nose on the inside of a joint, e.g. elbow or anywhere else exposed with soft, ticklish skin.

There is a square in town named after Olga Scheinpflugová. I’m not sure if it’s her last name or is there another reason why she’s often referred to as “the wife of the man who came up with the word for robot”. Like that’s any shorter.

"leaves on tracks" was always my favourite reason why trains were delayed or even cancelled.

My cat _loves_ plastic bags and suchlike plastic items. This includes certain types of sticky tape, physical folders, but not duct tape.
I have grown very cautious of where I put them.
She will also fight me over small pieces of fibre / yarn.

in that moment, I keep thinking of the Bakerloo line for some reason. maybe that's because it has curved platforms in some stations.

yeah, I've had this one, too.
the only thing it (so far) consistently gets right is when I need it to fix my mf-ing indentations in my yml files. (I need this relatively often, as I can't seem to think linearly, there's always some obvious PS stuff I needed to fit in somewhere near the top)

IKR? The neverending shame. That’s at the very core. I’ll never get rid of it. You can’t be a Catholic and miss the SHAME.
And the teachings of never ever ever ever DARE to take any PRIDE or even mention that you helped those less fortunate (by Catholicism you must’ve done in fact do that).

I went to Catholic private school. The lack of SHAME is very un-Catholic. And in this case it would be a justified shame for the sinful shit in that head.
And it’s not just the giving to less fortunate, there also should be a certain level of humility in doing so.

Highly recommend. The city itself is wonderfully beautiful. It is also full of adorable doggos of all ages. Less in the centre of course, that’s where tourists, students and hipsters are. But stepping out of the centre is so easy, quick and convenient, that it’s a sin not to.

The times when my cat does something adorable, obviously.
The doggo in the building opposite who likes to watch over the street from the window.
Seeing wobbly and overexcited puppies being walked past my window.
And even after all these years (now 7?), I am so happy I moved to Prague.
