I have a built in wardrobe in my bedroom. Recently I got a delivery in a rather spacious, yet shallow box. I put the opened box at the bottom shelf (so to speak) of said wardrobe.
Furfur is very pleased with herself that she has figured out a way to sit in a box and be in a shelf at the same time!

Life after one finds out one has a Nickel allergy is like prepping for a Chemistry exam. Which includes reading older publications where most of the research and statements are rather reasonable, but causes are facepalm. E.g. people get Nickel allergies because of piercings becoming more popular

Today is the day when I found out that I am not allergic to everything (except penicillin). Instead I am allergic to one single element that happens to be in pretty much everything.
What discombobulates me is that the doctor's conclusion was: avoid nickel, come back for a followup in 2 months.

Recently I've been thinking that maybe getting an FM synth is a bit OTT after all. Maybe the sensible thing to do is to get a bass.

I was reading about the so called “silent quitting”. One of the articles had suggestions for employers on how to reinvigorate these employees. E.g. by giving them more flexibility and better work / life balance options.
Which is, errr, kind of the point of the “silent quitting” in the first place.

How is it that on my days off I wake up, wash my face, make coffee, and suddenly it’s 2 (only 2 if I’m lucky) hours later, but today I’ve been up for ages, yet it’s just gone noon??

Just like everyone else, I can have a hundred thoughts running through my head, but if someone asks me what am I thinking, suddenly I will have zero of them.
But recently I've caught myself asking me "wait, what was that thought?" and achieving pretty much the same result. And this I don't like.
