This has happened at least three times that I know of: A gender-clinic insider comes forward with lurid, non-specific stories of rushed transitions and botched assessments.

This is a direct result of people trying to say just ignore her and take the high ground. You don't ignore bullies, you stand up to them. She's just going to keep escalating this and ignoring her doesn't work when there's an entire media ecosystem incentivizing this behavior.
