I joined Meta's Threads. It's definitely got a lot more action than Bluesky. At the same time, I'm constantly blocking (like X). I haven't blocked a single person here.

I forgot to mention that I saw three bald eagles flying together over the weekend on the James River (Virginia). I never saw them as a kid, and this is the first time I've seen more than one at a time. It was beautiful.

The ongoing Israel/Palestine situation reminds me of this Thomas Jefferson quote on slavery:

I watched the Milli Vanilli documentary on Paramount+ last night. I loved it. I'm glad the actual singers and songwriter finally got some recognition. I will always and forever blame it on the rain. They are still cool in my book. #millivanilli #vanilliheads #dontforgetmynumber
