Assuming this is true, the take-away is not "oh no a leftist mayor," it's that we need a coordinated national effort to govern our cities better without the rich freely putting us in a race to the bottom with their hypermobility.
What are we supposed to do here, just let them dictate our policies?

Many of you are probably not aware of how our precious safety-net programs - Medicare, Medicaid, food stamps, welfare, all of it - have been "rebranded" so that *no one that's on them knows that it's what they're on.*
Democrats letting this happen has been one of their biggest mistakes.
