Ratfish are a type of chimaera, a cartilaginous fish. Unlike other cartilaginous fish, like sharks, ratfish's teeth are permanent and plate-shaped to grind down prey. They also have a venomous spine on their back!

Had no idea Georgia Aquarium has African tigerfish, which I've been wanting to see since I was a literal child. Extremely pleasant surprise and my mom was very confused why I was so excited about this large grey fish

this brave jumping spider endured the horrors of automobile transportation (got stuck on the outside of the window of the car)

i will never understand why people kill coyotes. like obviously it comes from a fundamental misunderstanding of basic ecology, but like this thing is literally a dog how can someone look at this and go "gun time!"
