In short, if you see anyone just comparing the debt yiled rates in order to suggest what is going on is just like the Truss mini-budget, they are either ignorant or disingenuous.

As an economist I know you cannot cut your way out of debt. Instead, you have to grow.

We tried austerity for 14 years and it left us with low growth and crumbling public services.

This high investment government will grow the economy and lower the debt burden.
