I'm just a soul whose intentions are good.
My own favorite overheard: A female flight attendant attempts to flirt with a male flight attendant as they wait at the back of the cabin. "Don't you love takeoff? I love takeoff. It makes my fallopian tubes pop!"

I'm looking forward to it! I just filled out my library's request for purchase form.

Thanks for the rec - just made my interlibrary loan request for this and for Gala - I'm not familiar with the music yet but I am a sucker for a good music autobiography or bio. Kim Gordon, Viv Albertine, and Carrie Brownstein all wrote great ones.

Don't worry about whether you can re-cap the tube. You won't need to.

Do they have the Swedish cheese that comes in what look like giant toothpaste tubes, I wonder. If you haven't tried it, and you don't want to be stealing for pawn money to buy tubes of cheese, just never start. It comes in bacon, salami, and lobster flavors among many, many others.

No but I once hallucinated Buck O'Neill saying mm, fine cookie, yes. And that's got to be close.

4/We live so briefly, friends. Credibility, connections, validation, and praise are marvelous things--but how pale and poor the time spent chasing them. Here's to more projects and to methods with more heart. Cheers!

3/I've realized that I've let go the visions of myself and my path I once associated with this project. I can't think of a better way to mark that growth than by cutting my links with what I now think of as a ravening, anti-book beast.

2/The book sold a little more than a thousand copies; it won some awards and picked up random kudos from surprising names. Most of all, it opened doors for cool opportunities and led me to teachers, co-conspirators, and friends. I learned a ton about making and marketing a book.

2/The book sold well enough -- 1000 copies hand sold in 2 years is not bad at all; it won some awards and picked up some random kudos from credible names. Most of all, it opened doors for cool opportunities and led me to teachers, co-conspirators, and friends.

I don't know you but you just made my "imaginary dream dinner party" table list. Teabong forever. Thank you.

My first & most recent jumping spider--on my steering wheel, noticed @60mph, no highway shoulder. I wondered what this freaked-out spider made of its escape onto a stick & its new digs by the city lake. But thank you, now it will forever hunker into a little wiggle, "and that's just one side of me."
