That is me trying to make sense of why they would release DH in between campaigns when they clearly had no plans to use it for C4, rather than just, around Xmas or so, when it wouldn't create this whole mess 🤷

I'm still so baffled by the decision. I know they didn't expect DH to be such a sucess so maybe they were banking on some speculation about C4 to drive sales, but then never accounting for the possibility that DH does good and people would be upset they use 5e for C4 seems...oof

And yes I know AoU exists but I fucking hate the souls-like vibe ahdnhdhf there are few things in this world I vibe less with sorry to Mr Mercer. I tried but I just cannot get through it (and I got through the entire middle of C3 despite being invested in one (1) PC so ahdhdh)

I'm super bummer because I LOVE Daggerheart and I would love a long-term, level 1 to 10, high-quality production AP. You'd think the media company that owns the game would do it but alas 🫠

And also it would be a bummer to just have Matt running DH and not many guest players

But I also don't actually think they'll do that, unless they only do like 20 DH episodes in a year, I can't imagine the cast having that much time when they still have to juggle the WM campaign

It would be one thing to lowkey made the DH campaigns the new "main" campaigns by having those be run by Matt and have all the founders as players. That would be an understandable business move (still think they're cowards ahshdh)

Also just read there's 3 set sub groups so there's either 2 white tables or tokenism shdhfhfhf I hate it here
