Isn’t it a pity when a fascist can’t decide between launching a massive trade war and sucking up to the corporate class?
We're in a protracted standoff right now over who Trump picks for treasury
1) Trump is dead serious about enormous tariffs
2) Trump also really wants STONKS to go up. He wants someone markets respect
It's really hard to see how he gets BOTH - part of why picking treasury is proving so hard
