Two texts, an email, and a phone call, all at once, to let me know I can pick up Merrill’s remains, while I’m in the middle of a meeting. A bit excessive and I wasn’t ready for all of that.

My guy took his meds and looked really drowsy, so I picked him up to lay down. He briefly purred then he was asleep within seconds.

Took me 2 hours (with a google search 1.5 hours into it when I had given up) but I did it.
Apparently garbage disposals have a hole for an Allen wrench at the bottom of the unit under the sink to manually turn the gears to help free stuck items. 🙃
Wish I had googled first.

This is the second time in a month we’ve had to walk home from the crossroads because #KansasCity builds #bike lane infrastructure but does nothing to sweep/maintain it for its users.

We really need to go here more than 2x/year. It’s .5 miles from home and soooo good. lol.

Threw Green Dirt in the lineup for brunch today! Breakfast sandwich, mushroom melt, sausage, potatoes, and a cinnamon roll. All delicious!

The Town Company was so so so good. Hot buns, lobster toast, carrots, scallops, ribeye, and the miso butterscotch & carrot parfait! 🤤
I feel like we had the best seats in the house too, corner booth at the way back where we could admire the whole place!

We shared a two meat plate with the jalapeño sausage and pork belly, with beans and fries, and we got a pulled pork taco! Cold brew and sangria were great too! Yummmm

Soooo good. Grilled sourdough and the cauliflower to start. He got a smash burger and I got the risotto gnocchi. Ended with s’mores, of course. The cocktails were both beautiful and delicious. Clean plate club! We loved it all!

Omg this just reminded me of the two PC games I played the hell out of as a kid… Haven’t been much of a gamer since (unless you count the mini games on ebaumsworld I played in middle school lol)
