Salt printing is the eldest photographic print technique. It’s very special to use this ancient salt to print my photos of the desert, and connecting these pictures materially to the landscapes.

The salt flats in the Atacama Desert, including the Salar de Atacama, have been formed over millions of years by the evaporation of ancient lakes. The region’s dry climate, combined with minimal rainfall, caused water to evaporate faster than it could be replenished, leaving with thick salt deposits

I will start sharing some cyanotypes I made the last years.
This particular one is one of my own favorites! It’s big (approximately 140x90) and filled with amazing ice-ferns. I made it during an artist in Residence in Finland.

Just a starter to celebrate my bluesky account! I made this frosty cyanotype last week.
Making cyanotypes with the elements is also accepting a lot of failures! But the gems you get in the end are definitely worth the effort and cold temperatures!
