I’m a speech-language therapist, researcher and clinician in Aotearoa. My areas of interest are aphasia, PPA, dementia. My PhD research has developed a patient-reported outcome measure for dyadic conversation.
I Used Doedens and Meteyard’s 3-tier model in my PhD and the development of the Measure of Dyadic Conversation in Aphasia. Conversation doesn’t occur in isolation- it is interactive, we use multimodal communication and we rely on establishing or understanding our common ground.
