I’m a speech-language therapist, researcher and clinician in Aotearoa. My areas of interest are aphasia, PPA, dementia. My PhD research has developed a patient-reported outcome measure for dyadic conversation.
We had our biannual NZSTA conference in Ahuriri- Napier last week. The theme- Navigating the changing landscape. The conference demonstrated how we can unite and take steps to decolonize and ground ourselves to be the best we can for all the people we work with.
