Very productive Saturday. It's cold, so cold; however I got all my fall decorations stored in tubs (4 large tubs on wheels, 4 medium tubs), rolled to storage barn. Organized barn & stacked them neatly. Also got 2 tubs of Winter decor toted to back porch. Just as I finished it started to snow a bit

The prep is all done. A little bit every day since Saturday. Looks like we will have cold tomorrow but the rain moves out about 3am so that's good for those driving. I so enjoy all the company and a great Thanksgiving meal where everyone contributes. My sister's deviled eggs! Yummy Yum Yum

Thanksgiving prep. This weekend cleaned house/bathrooms, changed beds, cleaned enclosed back porch, washed rugs, laundry, cleaned out fridge (wiped shelves), ordered last minute groceries. Today, bake cornbread, chop celery, set turkey in fridge to thaw, batteries in fairy lights, wash chair covers

My sweet cat Ava has been having the zoomies this morning, playing with all her catnip mice in the sunshine that is streaming through the windows. It's a beautiful day. My job? avoid stepping on or moving all the carefully arranged mice, even the one in my favorite chair.

Just saw that Susan Collins has marched forward with all her strength and dignity and (wait for it, sit down, it's SHOCKING!) expressed her 'Concern' about the Gaetz nomination. She is now free to return to bootlicking and doing exactly as she's told while marching in lockstep.
