Wow does that look like a project that's going to end up half built, if any vertical construction ever occurs. Good luck to them and I hope I'm wrong.

California's redistricting only triggers if Texas successfully redistricts.

If you're "slightly" exceeding the speed limit it won't make a difference. Unless by "slightly" you mean "substantially."

Good point. I had initially calculated her age wrong.

So there's no interaction with another professor at a different institution about professional matters that would warrant action from your school, unless it was actually illegal? What if you told them to plagiarize?

"I will 'mentor' this young woman if she sleeps with me and not otherwise," sounds like a violation of his professional requirements, maybe? This is not his personal life; this is his professional life as a professor. Not sure though.

If I, not a lawyer, had been the foreperson and signed the first document, and then a few minutes later the prosecutor handed me a second document and said I was supposed to sign it, I wouldn't know I wasn't supposed to do that.

How did the foreperson's signature get on that second indictment, though? Did she lie to the foreperson about what the document represented, or did she fake the signature?

They should just impose tariffs for a second and then drop them. Do that ten times and prices would plummet. It’s a magic ratchet!

And older people, the ones who use the most health care, would do much, much worse.
November 17, 2025 at 12:40 AM
And they'd repeal the rule that made the premiums for 64 year olds be only 3 times as much as the premiums for a 21 year old, so 55-64 yo premiums would skyrocket.

I got banned from a mailing list once because after someone was complaining about insurance and said they never got any benefit from fire insurance, I offered to burn their house down if they wanted.
November 16, 2025 at 5:37 PM
It’s much worse than that. If you were old, or had a pre-existing condition, you couldn’t buy the insurance because they wouldn’t sell it to you.

I was afraid she would be bad on housing, but her opponent was worse.

And you can definitely ride hybrids on gravel, no problem.

Rivendell is the best. I love my Rivendell Roadeo, my Rivendell Atlantis touring bike, and my Rivendell Atlantis commute/transport bike. Pricy, though. (And worth every penny.)

I'm going to disagree here. Aluminum is fine, but for these purposes the weight difference between aluminum and steel is in the noise, and steel is more forgiving, with a more comfortable ride.

So if they weren't homosexual, it would be ok if they raped children, is that what I'm supposed to learn from the Catholic League?
