Talks quite a lot about football.

A player at a Premier League club has been accused of sexual assault by four different women and has carried on playing.

We can't name him for legal reasons.

“It’s a systemic failure,” says Nazir Afzal, the former Chief Crown Prosecutor for North West England.

The player we can’t write about and football’s ‘systemic failure’ to deal with sexual violence
A Premier League player is representing his club despite facing accusations of sexual violence. And nobody can talk or do anything about it.

Think Manchester United played quite well last night. I see genuine improvements especially in how we move the ball. We lack the killer instinct in the final third but do feel club is moving in the right direction. Play like that in Europe and silverware might not be out of the question.

Performance of the season from Manchester United at Anfield. From relegation mumbling to going toe to toe with best side in the league and looking comfortable doing it. Players need to be putting in those sort of performances week in and week out.

You’ve just got to keep the faith that sometime somewhere somehow it has got to get better for Manchester United.

Trying to get a 7 ft Christmas tree down from the attic when your 5ft 1 is genuinely a game of life and death. I almost got squished.

Wondering if this is as much as a cesspit as the other place.

Was looking forward to watching United today and now realise it’s not televised so radio commentary it is once again 😔

The vibes are so good in Manchester United training that if they fail to come out of the blocks against Bodø/Glimt with the same energy I will be mad.

Andrew Tate got banned from Bluesky in less than one day.

Another reason things are so much better here than Twitter.

Wonderful news. Would hate for him to leave before Rúben Amorim had the opportunity to beat him to a title.

Lovely win for our U21s tonight! Ennis is having a good run, he needs a full season in the reserves and perhaps a loan next year. Great prospect #MUFC

It’s so lovely when someone follows you on here from the other place. It’s like ‘oh, you think I’m worth following? Thank you’ 🥹❤️

Think biggest difference with Amorim will be how he communicates both with his players and with general media. It’s something I strongly feel was ten Hag’s biggest weakness. Think he genuinely failed to communicate his methods effectively at United. Amorim appears to be much stronger in this aspect.

A Thread 🧵

United’s first training session under Amorim, player positions:

RCB- Yoro
RWB - Antony
CM- Casemiro (slightly staggered 6s)
CM - Mainoo
LWB - Malacia
RAM - Amad
LAM - Mount
CF - Rashford

Amorim looking at his watch, asking for the move to be sped up.

Rúben Amorim appears extremely hands-on in today’s training session engaging with the players and really seems to be coaching the players.

Sometimes it’s difficult to maintain the optimism but always keep the faith and early vibes from Amorim are really good. We go again.

Just getting used to posting on here. It seems so much gentler and kinder on this platform (so far). Such a lovely reprieve from hate and division.

Rúben Amorim training pictures is all it takes to get me excited for football again. Really looking forward to this weekend.
